About Rick Hogg
Safariland CADRE member Rick Hogg is the owner of War Hogg Tactical. He is a 29-year U.S. Army Special Operations combat veteran, former SOF K9 handler, and Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat course instructor. Rick is also the co-host of the On the Range Podcast, which features a wide range of guests and topics, including current events, firearms training, personal development, and more. He is the co-author of The Firearms Training Notebook, a tool designed to help users build a plan for live and dry-fire training to improve marksmanship and gun-handling skills. An inventor as well, Rick created the Loop Leash lanyard system for both civilian and law enforcement applications. He is the founder of Project Officer Survival, which provides free law enforcement red dot pistol training, and the In Honor of Duco Project, dedicated to providing medical care to retired SOF K9s.
