About George Hupp
George Hupp is a retired federal special agent. He started on patrol in state and local law
enforcement. He was the top pistolero from his Border Patrol Academy class. For most of his
career, George was a criminal investigator and tactical medic on warrant service teams. His last
assignment was on an FBI Joint Terrorism Taskforce.
George was in the Army and Air Force for 13 years (34, including 'Guard and Reserve service).
He's grateful to God for the tireless spouse who served with him through those years, and bore
him two wonderful children.
George has taught thousands of military, law enforcement, and civilian students. He's spent over
four years supervising firing on shooting ranges full-time. For nearly 30 years, a significant
percentage of his time has been teaching Firearms, Defensive Tactics, Use of Force, and medical
subjects. George runs a small training and consulting firm, Heloderm LLC, and volunteers for
Integrated Community Solutions to Active Violence Events.
